The real kicker in this deal is that this "Item Qualifies for Laptop Trade-in Promotion"

Essentially, you can trade in any working laptop, that is in decent condition along with charger and get a $300 Costco Shop card.

"To receive a Costco Shop Card, your old laptop must follow the Trade-in Criteria below:

Any working laptop (2-in-1, convertible, detachable, MacBook, iPad)
Desktop PCs excluded
No more than 5 years old
Must power on
Undamaged (reasonable wear and tear accepted)

This is a great computer internally, but the design is absolutely horrible. The chassis has some flex and the power button is on the back corner, slightly recessed. We've RMAd like 15 of these all for the power button failing. And then a few months later it fails again. DO NOT BUY.

Well some customer reviews are saying 4 hours while pcmag gave it about 8:27 hours on a video rundown. Not sure if I trust Costco customer reviews. So people are too quick to judge on Windows laptop by not giving it a chance to fully do all of their updates and settle down after a week or so.

11th gen, 12th doesn't buy you much. I went x1 nano and it's been great! Got the now out of stock ebay old stock from lenovo direct.

A just question. I thought maybe based on CPU generation... But manufacturers still sell computers as new even a couple generations old. I don't see any requirements for a receipt. I have a laptop that may be a bit older based on when I bought it but also pretty sure they were still selling it new 5 years ago. I see no requirement for a receipt on Costco's website detailing the trade in.

Per Notebookcheck: The Yoga Sim 7i Carbon 13 gets decent battery life from its 50.2 Wh battery.
