I thought the same. You can get a cheap induction stove for < $50 and a nice quality wok for another < $50.

Well, it is wok shaped, fwiw. But far too low power for stir frying. Commercial kitchen wok burners run like 150000btu/hr (~45000 watts), compared to this puny 1800 watt induction hob. Kinda funny they consider even heating to be a feature, a signature of wok cooking is the ripping hot center and cooler sides.

Even if you multiply by 3 for the efficiency increase of induction, it's still far below a wok burner
