I have the 40 volt version and it's terrible. The chain goes too slow and the small stuff tends to bounce around a lot. On the bigger stuff it cuts so slow that it's hardly worth it. And it leaks oil out the bottom a lot. It has plenty of power but the gearing is too slow. I imagine they did it that way so they wouldn't have to have a chain brake.

I was really disappointed because I have a lot of the other greenworks tools and they've been really good, especially the 16 inch chainsaw.

It would probably work good for pruning if it had a full house chain on it but I can't find one that size.
