This printer is $399 base price not the $899 it lists now. It was $399 this morning when I was checking for a different printer. They inflated the base price then put it on "sale" at a higher base price than normal to make it look better.

This is my first effort at a post so I appreciate any fact checking lol. That said, I'm pretty sure you are thinking about about the original Voxel which is much smaller and doesn't accept standard 1kg filament spools. They look very similar at first glance. However, this is the "pro" version, which is a newer, larger, more capable model from Flashforge. They basically took community feed back on the Adventurer 3 and fixed most of the problems and improved build plate size. Speaking of which, I am not sure why the build volume is listed as 200x200x250 on Monoprice's site and not 220x220x250 like it logically should be, but that is the only difference in the two I really see. Perhaps they firmware limited it to separate the product from their own.

Don't buy this old schools style 3d print layout, spend a little more and get a core-XY Qidi Tech X-Smart 3 for $450.
