Got a good deal on this yesterday. I was shopping for tower and luckily came across this. I actually got it cheaper than this prices because yesterday it was 60% off. On Amazon they are 280.

I have a Fractal Design R5 and it's great but I wouldn't buy another case that doesn't have USB-C, which the Meshify also lacks. Plus, if you're into the iCue stuff this seems like a good choice.

You are way out of date. Fractal hasn't released a case without front panel USB-C in years. Back on topic. This is only so-so as far as cases go but an okay deal for this specific case. I bought this used, but perfect condition, with the 3 LL120 for $75 about 2 years ago. Airflow is very underwhelming but it's a very well built case. If you were already planning on buying some LL120 and a commander pro, just buy this.

The airflow version of this is $10 more and is just as good if not better than any of the Fractal Meshify cases.

I have the 4000d airflow version (basically the same case just smaller) and when loaded up with a 5800x3d and a 7900 xtx it's still provides great cooling.

different case, dude. This is the 500D, not 5000D. The 5000D/D Airflow/X/T is a much better overall case than the 500d. I'm not even advocating one way or another for a meshify, torrent, or north. I'm just stating that the USB c consideration is 4 years out of date.

worth noting that fractal's front io ports are usb-a 3.0 and (optional) usb-c 3.1 vs for example: nzxt's h5 elite's usb-a 3.2 and usb-c 3.2

This 500d case is more for medium to higher end build that has atleast an aio or custom loop. The fractal has better air flow for air setup thats about it and better price point if your on a budget. This is the baby brother of the 1000d and that is a monster of a case if u want to really talk about "serious" pc stuff
