good price, but not slick imho. bought the same ram on amazon last week for the same price. (F5-6000J3040F16GA2 instead of X2; identical timings, and virtually the same according to g-skill's site). maybe this is the new normal price now 😁

The A2 and X2 can be used interchangeably. I have two pairs of each in my machine, they work fine, work with xmp, etc. I think the A and X merely discuss the vendor.

I bought one set from Newegg and one memory was DOA. Just want to put that out there.

*Not sure why it's being downvoted. I spent a few hours just trying to figure out if this is an AM5 mobo issue or memory issue, especially with the AM5 needing the memory training etc. Very disappointed of the quality control.

Best sweet spot for am5 currently. Even though it says Intel, can still run AMD.

At this 6000 speed 30 CAS Latency is a 10 nanosecond true latency. I'm not sure there are any sticks anywhere below $100 that can get below 10ns.

You want 6500 mhz for the best performance. This is a no deal.

There's no such thing as 6500 DDR5. Manufacturers across the board seem to be incrementing their sticks by 200 step increments: 6200, 6400, 6600, 6800, etc.

You also need a motherboard that can handle the faster speeds, so this might be a deal for some.
