Speech therapist here and parent of 3…go with a thick STRAW type sippy instead, not this type of spout. The slickest deal of all is not paying for speech therapy for /s/ and /z/ (lisp). 😊👍🏼

My 8 month old daughter is mostly going to hold it, talk to it, sing to it, throw it on the floor and fuss for me to pick it up, so thinking we are gonna be good here.

My baby hates this, the spout is squarish and not easy to chew, which my baby likes to do.
