Add in a couple of the less expensive hue play bulbs for the right/left ends of your system and you'll be hooked.
I have an old laptop I no longer use and just connected it to my TV via HDMI. It lets me sync the lights without purchasing the $250 sync box; PC software's entirely free so I can still stream anything and have the full lighting effect.
Best Buy also sells refurbished Geek Squad gradient strips nearly 40% off MSRP.
I tried the other lighting effects (the latest camera edition Govee) and really do have to say this is eons better.
Add in a couple of the less expensive hue play bulbs for the right/left ends of your system and you'll be hooked.
