Yes, I recently took these exact shoes on a vacation to Tahiti. They worked great as a water shoe while being a little more substantial/easier to walk a distance in than your typical water sock. They do have a bumpy textured inside which I didn't love personally but got used to it quickly enough. Also be warned that the "lite" "ride" decorations on the laces fall off easily so maybe take those off in advance if you don't want to lose em. I wear size 12 Nike sneakers but had to size down to 11 for these, YMMV

If a bear is chasing you, then yes. Excellent for running. If you're doing the Marine Corps Marathon, then no, they are not.

Two weeks back I stumbled upon this one and I paid extra $2.50 to get the light grey one.
To my surprise they are very comfy, later I placed an order for a white pair.

I did the samez usually wear 10 or 10.5 sneakers but i had to get the 9 of these. I also ordered 10 but ended up returning so you might want to buy both and just return the one you dint fit

I'm trying to decide to size up or down. I normally wear 11.5 in most shoes. That has translated to size 12 in all of the Crocs I have owned so far (those have all been flip flops or loafers, never owned Croc sneakers before). Are these sized differently than other Crocs?

These are my kayaking shoes and they've been great for that purpose. I use a Hobie pedal drive so I usually like to wear shoes. I've had the same pair for 3 years and they get wet a lot. They haven't been taken care of. They've spent a lot of time just tossed in the bed of my truck and I've walked on oyster bars and waded in them but they've held up well.
These shoes are a helluva lot better with Lock Laces imo
