I just opened a new one, and easily transferred my old savings account into it. It took about 2 minutes.
I did not get the bonus. And I do have to call to close my account I zeroed out.
I also opened a new one online without the bonus and transferred money over and it took less than 2 minutes. To close the old one (if you want to) requires a phone call.

You can only contribute $10k a year to series I. If I put my $100k I get $1k plus 3.5% interest. I'm contemplating if it's worth the hassle moving money from my Marcus account getting 4.9% for 90 days
I have had a 360 account for a long time. Last week when the Apple savings account came out I checked my APY and saw it was only making .80. I took everything out of 360 as the interest was dismal. But for new people it's a great offer

You can transfer to the new 'performance' 3.75 APY, but it's not as good as Apple and many others. My Vanguard brokerage account earns more.
Too bad Capitol One just doesn't roll over old accounts automatically, or better yet increase/match the APY on the original savings account. It's like they pulled a fast one.
When I spoke with a customer service person they made an anology to buying a new phone, which was a bad one because a new phone would have more features which this doesn't have other than a higher interest rate.
I'm having trouble with their crappy website trying to add an external account because it can't verify my phone number which is exactly the same that shows up under account profile. Already feeling apprehensive about using Capital One.
