I saw a deal on a scratch and dent one recently. I didn't pull the trigger and regret not getting it. I'm totally envious!
The black and yellow is tempting.
Anyone know how the evh striped series compares to the Charvels? I know both are fender products.

They're practically the same. I own the 3 main striped and a SoCal. I seem to gravitate to the yellow striped for some reason, it feels better to me. The biggest difference is the fixed Floyd vs the floating on the Charvel. Also when you plug in I feel the EVH is a tad bit hotter. Obviously you don't have the neck pickup on there either. If wanna go there, the Charvel has a ton of tone settings (3 way with, knob pull coil tap)Feel wise they're incredibly similar. The relic feels the most different but we're not comparing that one here. Btw, I bought my yellow one back in November for the same price as this deal.

Which model did you buy?
- Pickup should be white instead of black
- Pickup ring is missing
- Truss rod adjustment nut is at the bottom of the neck instead of the head
