    I own both brands MSI and PowerColor in 6000 series Radeon cards, and just like the PowerColor cards better. They seem like a lot better build quality than MSI, just better overall. That doesn't improve the gaming experience any, and most people after you install on the motherboard once, its there for the life of the PC. It's hard to beat such a big price difference vs Newegg's MSI card though..

    I was tempted by these cards, but holy cow the power draw/heat. I think my PSU would barely scrape by, but don't think my UPS would.

    My understanding is that the cooler MSI is using is the same as the Gaming Trio for the 6900XT which had issues with a high delta between junction and hotspot. I had one of those 6900 XT's and it had that issue and resulted in a return. I also had two different Powercolor cards with solid cooling perfromance.

    Additionally, one is from Amazon and the other newegg, Amazon is pretty painless about returns, newegg can be iffy.

    But $70 is $70 so gamble if you have the stomach for it, I just wouldn't.

    I will take 10° C lower operating temperatures any day over flashing lights, just speaking for myself. RGB is worth something if you have the case for it, and if all the components play nicely together and color match each other in sync. I am using an all aluminum case with solid side panels so you wouldn't see RGB.

    The MSI cards have marginal cooling "in my experience", with the MSI RX 6750 TX, their "Mech OC" series card. The advantage of PowerColor is worth another 10% at that price range. That difference never shows up in ads. Maybe that's why the MSI cards are a lot cheaper on Newegg.

    The 6950xt definitely can be a hog but most amd cards undervolt well. If power draw is a concern I'd suggest looking at the 6700xt,6750xt or 6800xt. I'm running the latter on a 650w PSU undervolted with zero issues. I have the red devil edition of that one and one con for some can definitely be the absolute behemoth size of the cooler. It's very heavy and obscenely large, but I also feel like I got what I paid for.
