Note that the PSU is 400W

That's fine for what it is now but it will limit future upgrades

I am absolutely floored this system is SHIPPED by Microcenter. Almost all of Microcenter's deals are in-store only.

With that in mind... There are 4 DIMM slots, here is the manual [lenovo.com] along with the Product Page. [lenovo.com]

Seems like a decent deal.

Just upgrade the video card instead, can sell the 1660 for $150 on Ebay.

Follow up question to my own deal: Would something like this be a good upgrade over my current PC? I'm looking to get a 49" Ultrawide and I Was told my existing system my not be suitable for that

Existing specs:
Gaming Desktop - AMD Ryzen 5 3600 - 16GB Memory - NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 - 500GB Solid State Drive

I don't think it's worth it for you. I think based on the GPU it would be a very minor upgrade for you. An upgrade, but based on the benchmarks i'm seeing not a big one.

Any recommendations for something that could handle a Ultrawide. I do minimal gaming, mainly Work At Home stuff (of course, my monitor for Work At Home stuff is my laptop, so that doesn't even matter Smilie

So, my home use is mainly minimal gaming and typical Internet stuff

The 1660 will push a 49" ultrawide for productivity with no problem. Heck, I regularly push 2 x 34" QHD Ultrawide and 1 x 4k 27" using Iris Xe.

If you could be more specific on the monitor model and games if would be REALLY helpful.

I was thinking the Samsung 49", not the Neo but either the CRG with less curve. I like that 45" LG OLED, but that's pricey.

I play Fortnite and possibly Forza since I'm curious how that would play. I typically game on a console

That GPU wouldnt be able to handle that monitor. I have the same monitor and my 3080 FTW3 Ultra with a flashed 450w bios still struggles to push out decent framerate. Every game I play has to use dlss to get near 80 to 100fps. Even than I sometimes fall to low 50's FPS
