Note that the PSU is 400W

That's fine for what it is now but it will limit future upgrades

I am absolutely floored this system is SHIPPED by Microcenter. Almost all of Microcenter's deals are in-store only.

With that in mind... There are 4 DIMM slots, here is the manual [lenovo.com] along with the Product Page. [lenovo.com]

Seems like a decent deal.

Just upgrade the video card instead, can sell the 1660 for $150 on Ebay.

My son decided to overclock his CPU on his gaming laptop and ruined it....

He mainly plays Fortnite. Would this be good enough for that?

Hi! I'm looking to upgrade my 9 years old desktop. I was looking for a laptop, but this seems like a good deal

I don't do any gaming whatsoever. I only use the computer for paying bills, day trading, and YouTube.

What this computer do the job?

How loud is this unit compared to the Legion 7i tower? Are the stock fans noisy?

Does s/he play Roblox all the time like my 9yo? If so, this is more than fine.

The 3060 is not worth 200 more than the 3050 in this deal.

I bought very close to this system at Best Buy and swapped the psu for a 700w and got a 3080ti locally for $450. Also swapped 2x16gb ram. It's really good for a prebuilt with reasonable temperatures. Lenovo uses quality mid range components.

The big annoyance is the locked bios. No resizeable bar. Still it's a powerful build with decent cooling for under $1200 with the swapped parts.
Don't you need PCI 4.0 for 3080ti? This CPU is PCI 3.0

always scratch my head when I see a machine like this fitted out w/a 5700G and no video out on the mobo.

Just weird
You can use usb-c to hdmi.

They also have an i7 with 3060 for $799. Very decent price. Only real downside I see is only 2 ram slots and comes with 16 gigs.

I purchased two of these by mistake at the Tustin store. I can go ahead and cancel one of the orders, but since I see that it is now sold out. I want to offer up if anyone wants to coordinate a visit (DM me) when I go to pick up the machine, you can join me to pick up the other one.

What ??! Frys was amazing, Where else can geeks go to geek out, see every single gadget, play the latest game, and just hang out? Yeah, browsing amazon is not quite the same thing. Plus Frys had great deals on all kinds of stuff. It was the corporate vultures that killed it not online stores.

You complain about customer service, do you have any idea how many people abused and cheated their generous policies. Why do you think so many stores had to end those policies?
