Answer: No it is soldered. It comes with low voltage LPDDR4x 4266 MHz Ram.
Also, is the MX450 actually better than the integrated graphics of a Ryzen 7 5700u?

AMD had a big leap with the 6000 series graphics. So whether mx450 is better than 6800u graphics I'm not sure.
I originally bought it open-box but returned it for a new version as it looked very used. The last two items I bought open box from BB have been sent back.
