I currently own this for two years and so far it's been good. I'm a homeowner and I use this for cleaning my driveway and pathway as well as cleaning algae off of bricks and roof. But the main reason I use it is for pressure washing my car.

2000 is best for light duty work and car washing. Anything more and you might as well get gas or a professional to do it. This might take a little longer but worth the $140 I spent. It does come with an Uber flex 25 ft hose worth $30 better than the ones that Ryobi electrics come with.

The one drawback is it is a little clunky so not the best if you don't tidy up the wires when moving it around but other than that warranty covers defects for machines not replaceable parts like the nozzle tips. I tried to call in and they said I have to buy a new pack. Overall a decent purchase and at $120 it's better than anything else you can buy at 2000 psi

Based on my experience, GPM is more important. With high PSI/ low GPM the stream will be thin, like writing with a pen. A gas pressure washer is more $$, noisier, heavier, and needs some upkeep, but the performance difference is huge.
Thank you!

Do I have to hook it up to a garden hose?
Well, yea. Or a water tank that provides sufficient flow.

The best thing I found for removing mold from siding is called EZ Armor House Wash. It connects to your garden hose and can stream pretty high. Highly recommended!

Thanks. My challenge is reaching the higher part of my house siding. I think the spray will need to be strong enough if I am on the ground reaching the second floor of my house.

Thank you for the explanation and all the others that replied. I'm now curious to try the process, what's a good foam canon and will it matter my only PW is a 2900 gas one?
Amazon I think is your best bet. You can find them for a variety of pricing.

I went cheap on mine to test it out(years ago) and never bought a replacement. I think it was 30 bucks. Came with tips and has done a fantastic job.

Brushless motor should last longer and be more efficient than than regular brushed motors that breaks and will need service to the brushes, etc, I saw the Husqvarna when it was on $99 but was sold out quickly did not remember seeing it was a brushless model on website or specs online, the current one online does not say either on the specs.
My Husqvarna box clearly says Brushless Induction Motor so I assume they are being truthful with that. I'm not sure how to tell by looking at the PW though

If you want water to come out of it, yes.

just curious, isn't 1.2 GPM flow on the low side? presumably it will take a much longer time for large area cleaning?
I borrowed a gas PW Simpson a few years ago when I needed to clean my wood fence and wood swing set. That plus a Turbo Nozzle was like a frickin Level 10 supergun...I was like Jesse the Body in Predator...that thing was just humming and literally blasting away everything. There were raised wood fibers in the fence etc. If I had gotten too close I could have probably made a hole in the fence if I tried. You don't want that for your car hood! But yeah I tried my new electric PW on my sidewalk just for fun and if I used a narrow tip AND got really close it would clear dirt, but this felt like taking a toothbrush to clean my driveway. Never will try that. I assume my electric is basically good for cars and maybe lawn furniture etc

I just bought the Sooprinse foam cannon for 21 bucks and it works fine. Wide mouth bottle, able to be twisted horizontal or vertical on the nozzle, weighted pickup hose, clear bottle so you can see what you are doing

I bought this several weeks ago when it was $150. Used it once so far and was satisfied with the results. It is not going to compete with a 3000psi gas model, but I am done with messing around with gas engines, so the extra power difference is not worth it for me.

I was able to clean our 60-year old concrete front steps to looking basically new again. Had to get the nozzle closer than I might have with a gas model, but again I am not dealing with gasoline, spark plugs and carburetors ever again if I can avoid it.

The hose is nice, the wand holder thing is also good (one costco review said it was bad but I don't see that here). The power cord management is not the best, I mean it works just fine but it's kind of a pain to wrap up the cord around the two hooks, being that it is kind of tucked into the bottom of the unit.

The soap container doesn't have a good secure connection to the frame, and kind of gets loose if you set it down in thicker grass, but no a big deal. I've not tried actually using soap in it yet.

Also it's not super loud like gas, and it will shut off when not actively pumping out water, and welcome improvement over gas.

If you really need the extra pressure there are some larger more powerful electric units out there, those would probably save you some time in doing tougher jobs but for most people I think this one is fine. It's also lighter, easy to move around.

Will this be strong enough to mostly strip a lot of old stain on a deck before Restaining? Wouldn't use a pressure washer much besides that every few years so hard to justify spending up for the 3000 PSI model unless needed

I got this last year for $180. I've used it to clean the vinyl siding on our house, some small areas of our walkways and our cars. I haven't had any issues and I like it. Maybe a more powerful one would be better, but this gets the job done.

I bought a foam cannon and a 1.1 mm foam cannon orifice nozzle. I was happy with the results for pressure washing the car.

I was about to buy this, but there are many bad reviews on Costco's site. Anyone have any experience with this model?
I have one. Started getting wonky after 3 months. Couple issues that occurred-- the car wash attachment stopped pumping soapy water, there would be air pockets despite letting it run for several minutes prior to use (as directed). Not a great product.

Is this available in store or online only? If available in store is this the same price, asking as Costco tends to price the online fulfilled items higher.

The size of the orifice within the foam cannon is also very important. From what I've read/seen an orifice size of 1.1mm is desired. Most foam cannons come with a 1.25mm orifice. Reducing the orifice size can make a big difference in regards to the amount and thickness of soap foam produced.
