People can compare spec all they wants. But most flagship camera from Sony, Canon probably perform very well for most people.
For Mirrorless Camera, it is more important about getting the right quality lens. You may need to do more research about lens for specific system you are interested in. I believe Sony e-mount has established by far the best-supported mirrorless mount. There are now more than a hundred E-mount autofocus lenses available. While brand like Canon mirrorless don't have 3rd party lens support. So the price and quality of sony mirrorless camera compatible lens are very good compare to other mirrorless camera system.
I think you will need to do research of what lens you may need and check out what kind of lens are available also if you just start out and picking the right mirrorless system to get into.

I paid $900 for mine used and love it, definitely a step up from the A7RII, and does better than my A6400. That and I use a sigma MC-11 with canon EF/EFS lenses, much cheaper than native Sony FE lenses.

Stupid FF newbie question. Can i use a Sony APS-C E-mount lens with this and get 21.2 MP pictures? Are there any downside to that except the resolution drop? Will I actually lose any part of the image? Would there be a zoom factor?
