I bought this to replace an 8 year old Vizio sound bar. I am hardly an audiophile but there was a noticeable gap in quality between the Vizio and TCL sound bars. The TCL just sounds cheaper and the mid range is not great. I wanted to to work so it matched by new TCL Class V Roku TV (which is an awesome vlue TV by the way) but it just isn't worth it, even at $99. I am installing my old Vizio sound bar for now until I see a good deal on a new sound bar that is better quality.

Mine has been on the FedEx truck for nearly a week coming from Georgia. I hope it pairs well with my Amazon 65" Omni QLED (rumored to be made by TCL), if I get the sound drop out, I'll return it and buy the Samsung HW-Q600B open box deal on Amazon for $142. I have the small Vizio V20-J8 now and am hoping for better dialog from a SB with a center channel.

There's a review on YouTube where he actually took apart the sound bar to show the speakers, circuit board etc. and he was surprised at the quality, size, and placement of speakers.

So far I am happy with the purchase, the center speaker makes dialog much better. But I did lose Atmos with the automatic software update. Support tells me to reset it to factory, which I will try laster.

Have had this for a couple years after the the built-in TV speaker blew. Decent, gets the job done.

Have had a couple lock-ups that required a power reseat. Takes a while to power on.

Half the time there is noticeable audio delay. Although this could be my 2018 TV. So I switch my TV to built-in speakers then back to the sound bar (ARC) and it works until the next time I turn them on.
