Please think about what you are saying. There is no need to be practical here

I'm in for 2. I love these things, I've owned prob 3?? The most current one I have is clogged. In the past I feel like if you try to unclog they don't work as well. Any tips? I'm still buying 2.

These things are great, I have a couple I have been using for many years with 0 problems.

Also, I can't believe someone is comparing these to a 1 dollar sprayer bottle from the dollar store… Not even in the same league.

It's totally different. Is the $1 sprayer food safe? Are the pressures the same so that it can also atomize?

I've owned 3 of these. After a year they all just squirt a solid stream. Misto to streamo. Still works but not as advertised.

Because I'm not a fan of purposefully introducing chemicals into my cooking. Please

How do these spray bottles hold up long term? Also could I use them for non-food liquids?

That's a problem inherent with olive oil, especially extra virgin, since it tends to be more sticky.

Bought 1 few years ago. Luv'ed the even spray, easy pump, easy to use, when I used it with Canola oil. Thought - 'dark container', cool storage, why not olive oil. And so it goes . . .
Yea, I use olive oil now - Extra and cook/fry. Yep - it Does Clog. IMHO - Found the '1st cold press' olive oil is thicker and does clog more than cheaper. But, I DO like the spray (when it's working), and, the 'splattered stream' will still get the job done.
Cleaning mine - I have found the best way for me to clean, and 'unclog', mine is - I use Dawn Platinum - only 1-2 drops (Don't flood it). Hot water - couple of drops of Dawn - Shake - Pump - Spray - and pump and spray again until empty. Rinse - Fill water - shake - spray until empty (i.e.: get the soap out). Dry it - let it air dry. Works for me for several more months.
Yep, as some have said - 'clogging' is a pain - I got over it and got use to it. Works for me.

Is it food grade plastic?

I own one of these, bought it when it was $11 a year or 2 ago. I use it exclusively for olive oil and in my experience, it sprays on meats/salads just fine.
