FYI, read through the previous deal on this power station and it looks like Tenergy is refusing warranty on this device since Buydig is not an authorized reseller according to the manufacturer. Just beware of this possibility,

So this is good for a couple things. I run a cpap machine on one (not this brand but close in Wh) For the most part I can recharge a bunch of cell phones while camping. I run a lamp for our table when my daughter is selling Girl Scout cookies. So there are niche uses for sure. But this will not run a fridge or AC very long. Even so in my experience when I have a power outage 90% of time for me anyway a battery backup doesn't matter for my Internet equipment because the provider street side equipment has lost power too.

Powering things. LMAO

No, it won't run your fridge... you will need a way bigger unit for that. It's going to cost *much* more than $119.

I have one this size (made by GoLabs) and I find it very handy for powering my laptop and charging my phone when I'm working away from home. My kids use it to charge their phones in the backseat on trips. My wife has used it to run some LED lights in her booth at show in a convention center where they wanted $500 to provide an outlet. I've used it to power my QRP ham radios when out camping. I've recharged it a few hundred times and haven't noticed any loss of capacity. LiFePO4 cells are supposed to be good for many thousands of recharge cycles, unlike the LiOn batteries in most of your small power banks.

I'm not a huge Tenergy fan but my friend bought this and it's pretty good besides the slow recharge. I would probably buy one if they lowered the price

For the AC, is that 200W total? What happens when I plug on AC and USB? Will the AC output go down?

What is this good for? I'm no electrician, but this doesn't seem like enough capacity to keep my refrigerator or AC running for very long (if it can even supply enough current for those). About the only use for this I can imagine is to keep my internet connection up (cable modem & router) for several hours. All my other low power stuff that would last for a significant time off of this can already be run from the numerous power banks we already have. Any other ideas for this?

I see it as an emergency low power battery backup. Like a cell phone and LED lamps. Other than that I can't see what else I could use it for. I wouldn't want to plug in something that will burn thru the battery in about an hour

I may get one just to keep my WiFi and modem alive if there's an outage, although I haven't experienced an outage in 5+ years. Also, maybe for a short or overnight outings.

This is a bit more substantial than your regular power banks. It has the ability to power a projector, while you charge your phone, tablet, watch and your significant other's electronics for many hours. This is not a battery for your home energy needs.

Fan, lights, small pump, boombox, TV (not too large and not for too long,) Diesel heater (in addition to Diesel fuel,) charging the usual portable devices, some RV owners use it to power their CPAP machines. Works best in combination with a solar panel, backyard or on hikes and such, generally where the power grid is unavailable.

You are right, fridge/AC needs something with a much larger capacity that cost $$$$. However these portable units are useful for small appliances that are not energy-intensive (heating anything is too much so cooking or brewing tea/coffee is out of the question.) Also the battery has LiFePO4 chemistry which, while heavier, is more advantageous than the other Li-Ion types.

Thanks for all the replies, everyone! I could see using this for CPAP if I didn't already have a UPS for that purpose, although this might be good for a backup in case of a longer outage. Past that, I'm afraid most other usages mentioned are already covered by USB power banks. I guess powering a couple lights would be good for the vision-impaired spouse, tho - flashlights aren't always the most convenient thing to use during an outage.

Thanks again, all!
