The best way to clean rubber mats is to pull them out of the car and spray them with a hose. Then use a tire brush similar to this one [advanceautoparts.com] dipped in soap water and scrub these mats with it. Make sure to do the back as well. I then leave it out in the sun to dry while i vacuum and wash the car. Best to do this in the morning so you'll have plenty of time to let the mats dry.

I don't know that WeatherTech floor mats are super comparable to cheap floor mats; I feel like these are two different markets. I've always considered WeatherTech to be high-end and an alternative to OEM mats.

I just checked Best Buy via eBay, and see listings for the two grey floormat sets, but not the heavy duty set. So I'm thinking the heavy duty floor mat set is YMMV.

I bought these last time, they were kinda hard to clean, you can see from the picture, the bottom can get dirt in them and trying to suck with a vacuum can be difficult.

I went with the custom fit Husky ones when I purchased a new car after having the universal cut to fit ones in my old car. I would highly recommend the husky liners over these, although they are a very nice price. It's ultimately up to you.

I looked at this set when I wanted to get a set of cheap rubber mats for a beater car I recently picked up, but ultimately, I went with this set: https://shop.advanceautoparts.com...t/12092749 mostly due to cost. With a discount code, I got them for under $10.
