This is essentially bleach and a mild detergent like dish soap. It works really well, though.

Best I've seen is the 30 second outdoor mold and mildew cleaner . It's a little more but well worth the money . Home Depot sells it cheaper then Amazon .

I've used the EZ Armor House Wash for stucco. But I think you can use this too.

from the description:

SAFE FOR USE ON vinyl, brick, stucco, aluminum, concrete, painted wood, trim, PVC, masonry, restored wood, resurfaced wood finishes, playground equipment and patio furniture. Won't harm plants when used as directed.

I always keep these two handy
- Purple Power Degreaser (is cheaper, I think I purchased at walmart for under $5 many months ago)
- 30 sec cleaner (more expensive, but most of the time the above cleaner works)

I used this last year on one of our siding, North facing side. It was greenish, I thought inwould have to do it again this year, but it did a good job and algae/mildew whatever was growing did Not come back. Bleach and Dawn is not free either, why not get something thst works instead of messing with stuff and if you get wrong ratio you may cause more damage.
