I think Amazon is lazy with their California compliance or something. Either didn't get it certified for being energy efficient or didn't include prop 65 warning? I have found many times that things are barred from shipment to California that seem like they should be fine

Probably because this light is known to cause cancer by eating the entire light. Or something

It's probably that. Probably missing a label for Prop 65. I would have jumped on for a few as well - too bad.

I bought this October 2022 for a few cents more than this, it works well and was an easy install. No issues with it and it survived a Midwest winter so far.

I ordered this. How bright is this this, is it too much? 4000 Lumens, 40w equivalent

Did anyone of you convert this to a plug in type by attaching a wire with three prong plug? If so what did you use

If you're wanting to do that, just find an unsed cord around the house, cut it to the length you need, strip the wires and connect them to the same screws you would for a normal connection. I'd recommend sealing the back plate though so wires aren't exposed if not mounted.

It's title 20. They're just lazy to certify it.
