99% of newer shower heads don't need Teflon tape. If it has a rubber washer tape is redundant. It's not going to hurt anything but the washer is doing the seal work. Same goes for toilet and sink lines with the braided hose and washers in the female end. If you do use tape, remember to wrap it clockwise, the same way you screw the fitting together.

Has anyone used this brand before? I'm not familiar with it since I rent but would be nice to upgrade my shower head.
I did a lot of research and was in the same boat two months ago. Ordanado is the second best and solid for the price. Whatever you get don't be stigny with the plumbers tape and make sure it's not only muscle tight but with a little more umph; it's holding and routing water. With this said, I have no idea what this brand is as it did it make the top 5.

I assume you mean Teflon tape and yes, be sure to use some but it can make it difficult to install the shower head if you use too much. I usually use two to three layers and it works fine. Just test it after you install and if it leaks then try tightening it a bit more and if that doesn't work take it off and apply another couple of layers of tape and reinstall. Always good to keep a few rolls of that on hand for any time you are putting in facets or shower heads.

PTFE tape to be precise. Or Polytetrasomething tape.
Any deals that are compatible with a 5 foot tall bather? Our showers are tiled 7 feet up and the builder ran the pipe through the wall above and my wife can't get close to reaching the diverter to switch these.
