Just keep in mind, these are 1.2V, while normal AAA batteries are 1.5V.

They will not work in some devices that actually need more than 1.2V.

All NiMh rechargeable batteries are 1.2v. That is due to the chemistry of NiMh batteries. 8 out of 10 devices won't have any problems with 1.2v batteries. The only one that I have noticed having problems with 1.2v batteries are medical devices (e.g. Blood pressure monitors). I guess for that purposes you might have to use Alkaline batteries.
