they copy straight off of lego designs which are not only intellect property, but lego has been a huge pioneer in pushing creativity and charity for kids. their company is everything against a company like temu who just copies highest selling products and probably keep all the profits being its a chinese company. lego has over 1900 patents and design trademarks for a reason. just because they cant enforce it in china, doesn't mean we should circumnavigate a loophole.

theres a lego set like this.

and at $6 for this cheap set. you could easily just 3d print it at this point... its not like its an intricate design or quality made parts lol just chinese plastic

I have bought some cheap knockoffs and they are a horrible experience to assemble. Nothing clicks in they are impossible to pull apart. After your have built with lego with snap together pretty easy and the directions are 10 times better on lego as well. Bagged not marked so its 1000 pieces or more searching for 2 little pieces. That being said lego are very much a overpriced toy. I can assemble a 70 dollar lego set on a hour maybe hour and half. And after that it has no real use lets be honest. No one wants your used lego or knock off lego sets.

I agree with most of this but have to disagree with no one wanting used Legos. There's a huge market for it (eBay) and it's not uncommon to get more than what you paid for on used sets. This applies mainly to older sets but regardless. Compared to most other collectibles/toys Lego has a great resale value. They're the Apple of collectibles lol.
