I literally just built this shed last weekend. Went together real easily, but the foundation needs to be perfectly flat or the doors won't open and close well.
8'x7.5' is 25% smaller, not a hair
Remember to use the 10% off coupon code for first-time shoppers found in the blue Valpak monthly mailers. I just got one today.

Unfortunately I'm not getting anything even in my trash or spam. I just created an account on Wayfair when I saw this.

Yes, it's a lot of work. But concrete slab would be best if you can do it compared to wood frame foundation. I did compacted gravel, and it's not perfectly flat, so the doors aren't 100% square, but it's close enough for the doors to function.

Here it is, folks. If you install it properly it works. If you don't, it kinda works, and if you put no thought or effort behind this purchase & just thought a shed was a good idea, its going to end up needing powerwashing inside & out with the changing of the seasons.

Buy 4 concrete piers, level them for the 4 corners. Use 2x6 or 2x8 to build a frame like a deck. Did this with my 7x7 a few years back.

This is a really solid deal with the 10% off. I think I'm going to buy this because my garage is running out of storage.

Where are the anchor points if putting it on a concrete slab? Are there L-brackets for the floor & walls, or simply drill through the floor?
I've been researching wooden sheds [lowes.com] and found that most contractors recommend gravel and 4x4 or 4x6 for the foundation, or even deck concrete blocks. I live in a windy area so I can't do that with a resin shed (which are way lighter than the wooden ones I believe). It would have to be anchored with cables and spikes to the ground. That's a NO for me.
I've considered maybe dry-pouring a concrete slab [youtube.com] myself, but I'd rather pay a concrete company to build me a proper one using the money saved from this deal...and maybe save my back too Smilie I think 10x10 slab is around $1k in my area.

This is super tempting but outside of allocating a portion of the yard (currently in disarray) for this, i'd still need to have a concrete slab poured or footers with a platform built (i just wouldnt want anything living underneath though so not sure about this). Im not even sure where I would place this in our yard since its kind of an odd shape... Was initially thinking about building one but that's a ton of effort for something where i just need simple storage space. Our yard is a mess right now - i started excavating it with ntentions of laying a flagstone patio with a crushed rock path surrounding it - everything got delayed because of all the heavy rains here in socal. its a dry and barren wasteland out there lol
