Does anyone else hate Costco's website? They're so far behind Sam's club when it comes to checking stock, ordering online, scan and go, etc.

For example, many of their TVs say "delivery available" and when you click on it, it says "delivery not available and not available for pickup". This is 2023 and Costco's living in 1999.

Note: Costco's Spend and Get promotion increased $100 overnight. All prices have now dropped an additional $100 from yesterday. I have submitted a price adjustment request for my purchase. Hope they honor it or I will be canceling and repurchasing.

OP, thanks! Two 86" LGs are heading my way - Nashville, next Thursday for $1,699 plus tax. This includes the 3 year All State warranty and delivery.

Tax here is a steep $157 for both but I am taking one and my son just 3 blocks away is taking the other.

A midgrade 86" for less than $10 an inch is insane.
It's an entry level TV https://www.rtings.com/tv/reviews/lg/uq8000

Love my C2 77.. I believe the Sony A90J might be better if one only watches TV ( cable, streaming etc .. ) but LG is a complete package ( TV + Gaming )

Samsung is .. brightness, that's about it ( for now ) .. Absolutely detest Tizen.
Yeah. They do say the Sony ones are a little better for movies. LG is just phenomenal all around. I can't imagine the Sony TVs are better enough in the movie department to warrant getting one over LG, since the C2 is already so nice. I have no idea what that other guy is talking about. That Samsung TV has so many problems, which is why it's on sale every other week at huge discounts.

Yet you keep shopping at Costco. Clearly they are doing something right.

The 120 HZ and VRR equipped 86" was not tested by RTINGS.

Is there an entry level 120 HZ and VRR equipped anything available?

You can't order it if they don't have it available in your area, so that makes no sense.
I ordered one around 6:00 (had to wait until I got home to use my Discover for 5% CB) and it told me in the cart that it was no longer available in my area but it still let me order it.

LED is dying technically. in 2 years OLED will be the norm and plain LED will be what happened to DLP, plasma, LCD, etc.
Oled can't get nearly as bright as miniled, and Likely never will. Brightness is super important for hdr. Oled also suffers from ABL and dims certain colors over time.

Lg oled b2 would be considered mid grade. This lg is very entry level.

I can still order the U75H. And it's $780 not $880 as the title shows. Absolutely insane deal for a lower mid range 75" set. I would have ordered it myself by now but I'm pretty sure my wife would murder me. I'm not sure that alone would stop me but I do already have a 65" U8G so aside from size I think this could be a slight downgrade picture wise. Very very tempted though.

Edit: And DONT get that 86" set. It's just plain bad other than the huge size.

I'm in the market for a 65" TV under $1000 right now and I'm leaning towards over 65 U8H due to very good reviews and Rtings pick.

Any other Options out there for 65" under $1000?

My sister got a 65 H9G last 2020 and it died by the end of 2022. Still upset about it since I help her to pick that TV.

I think the only other one worth looking into is the TCL 6 series (TCL65R655) but I really haven't been paying attention to it lately to know if it's as good or any better than the U8H. I know the TCL has better more natural motion but aside from that I think the U8H is better. Either are very good sets.

I just hung the 75" Hisense. Replaced a 65" element and wasn't expecting the weight difference to be so dramatic. To anyone hanging themselves be careful! 100 lb between two people sounds easily manageable but things change when you start lifting towards shoulder level while also trying to balance from the top without touching the screen cause warning the screen is fragile so dont touch it ever!

Disclaimer: I'm recovering from a traumatic brain injury and abnormally weak right now, but the 70 year old vet in good shape that was assisting me was also struggling unexpectedly
