    I bought this flavor the last time it was on SD for about $35. I tried my hardest to find a way to ignore or cover up the chemical taste but I couldn't. Neither could my wife or son. Instead we went through all the aging half empty "meh" protein in the house. And everytime I opened the cabinet this massive 4lb Cookies & Cream Tub mocked me. "Look at that idiot! Thinking he's saving money for his family but instead he's wasting it!"

    Over and over it mocked me after every workout. A time when I'm supposed to be feeling positive. As dedicated as I am to the SD lyfe, there's only so much I can take.

    Yesterday I carried it out to the curb (80% full), tossed it with the garbage and called my wife at Costco to picked up a 5lb bag of Vanilla Optimum Nutrition. Even if it's not on sale.

    I laughed when I saw this deal pop up today for $10 less then I paid. This Cookies & Cream is relentless.

    I pulled the trigger on it. Cheaper than the other 5lb Muscle Tech vanilla flavor. Macros look like ass and flavor is probably terrible, but cheap protein is cheap protein.

    I liked this one but I haven't had much protein in a long time so can't really compare. I started mixing it with costco's greek yogurt and *loved* it. Kind of has a consistency like frosting.

    This flavor way less nasty than vanilla. I'll still pass bc I don't trust any company that produces that chemical flavored vanilla trash. But this isn't that bad.

    Great deal, makes it .67/serving or .02/ gram of protein. I haven't had this flavor, but I never go by reviews. Everyone's taste is different. I can't stand MM, but a lot of people think it's the most flavorful.

    Yeah that's true to an extent but the vanilla is universally reviled and for good reason. This one is fine but still not great. Don't think you should straight up ignore reviews. They're pretty consistent for this manufacturer
