2nd ingredient is corn syrup wtf yet it still uses sucralose. I've had a lot of energy drinks but this has to be one of the worst I've seen. The listed sugar doesn't even seem high enough considering the awful ingredients.

The funnier part, Mtn Dew can figure out to put sucralose in Energy drinks but has yet to move on from outdated aspartame in their diet drinks.

FYI kickstart is the low stim energy drink line with HFCS. Mountain dew energy is the sugar free line with twice as much caffeine (180mg) as kickstart and it's a little more expensive. Kickstart is much better tasting than the dew energy line from my experience

I actually prefer the taste of mountain dew energy but depends on what you want. Much more carbonation with the energy ones. Kickstart is much smoother but has some nasty flavors (had strawberry the other day, gross) but this OP one tastes good. Kickstart doesn't bother my body near as much as the MD Energy ones

What about this would cause a heart attack? It has 90mg of caffeine and 20g of sugar.

Not exactly something I would consider healthy but about the same sugar content and half the caffeine of a regular cappuccino.

It's got about half the sugar content of a regular 12oz soda and twice the caffeine.

Sucralose and HFCS are both about 50/50 fructose to glucose of I remember right.

Not healthy by any means but better than a regular soda.

I was curious and wow I can't believe I used to drink regular Mt Dew. Being healthier than a regular soda is a realllly low bar

Reg Mtn Dew 16oz
https://www.pepsicoproductfacts.c...ize=16&PPF

230 Cal
61g sugar
80mg sodium
72mg caffeine
0 phosphorous or sucralose

Fruit Punch Kickstart 16oz
https://www.pepsicoproductfacts.c...ize=16&PPF
80 cal
19g sugar
170mg sodium
92mg caffeine
100mg phosphorous
+sucralose

The caffeine content isn't even that different, it's mostly just cutting down some of the HFCS with other sweeteners
