Received via email code GET5OFF to bring the price down to $8.99. I don't know if the code is targeted to certain accounts only. You cannot add a second code such as MP20.

i live just outside of the big city and these kind of little flat antennas work great. i used to use a splitter to share 1 with 2 devices, but a splitter can weaken the signal. so now i put one on each device since on sale they run $5+.

I don't see anything that says that it's for outdoors on the product page.

Edit: Now I see it says "Weather resistant". This one [monoprice.com] seems like it might be a little better for outdoors and it's only $11.89 (maybe less if a coupon works) and has mounting brackets and is "weatherproof, rust proof, and UV resistant". MP20 makes it $9.52, but shipping almost doubles the price.

Been a long time since I looked at antennas

How does this compare to the mohu leaf that I got way back when?

even if it says that its weather resistant i wouldnt put it in the direct elements. i have seen people hang these under their patio cover or roof eaves.

I can get all channels except for ABC with my current antenna no matter where I move it. I wonder if a better one will fix this.

It says "active curved " with makes me think of a unidirectional parabolic antenna, but the picture looks like one of your typical flat antennas?

It looks slightly curved to me, which I guess might help with multiple signals coming from slightly different directions (say north & south ends of your nearest local big city). The "active" part usually means an optional-to-use powered amplifier is included, which is usually meant to be powered from a USB port on the TV (you can use a different USB power source if you prefer).

I am curious how this compares to the most popular flat antennas from Mohu and Winegard.

My Winegard FlatWave 55 mile antenna works better than my Mohu Leaf 65 mile antenna, so I don't hold much credence to mile ratings.
