I was inside a Herman Miller store last month and seems like you can negotiate in store. If you ask a Herman Miller employee, they give additional discounts on top of matching their website price. Seems like they get a commission if you pay in store.

That's what I did and got it for much cheaper.. can't remember how much now. Also, I've read some review where gaming chair is worst than original. It does have extra cushion on the chair but not everyone likes that. The original chair was made with ergonomic in mind. I think adding extra cushion is just a gimick of 'gaming' chair. Personally, I would buy the original one.

They also have 15% off the original ones. This one was just cheaper.

Ahh, I wouldn't mind being able to buy one of these new for $900ish again. Last I looked was when I bought my cosm back when it first came off out (I think around fall 2018).

I have the original and personally, I wish it had more cushioning. That said, I've also had an Aeron and if that didn't have a plastic border that cut into my legs it would be my favorite between the two.

Honestly if you're on the fence you should just buy it. Their customer service is amazing and if you don't like it they'll get you in another chair without any questions and without you having to really do much more than put it back in a box. They'll handle the shipping costs and even have somebody pick it up for you.
