That's a feature, not a bug. AMD has been far ahead of Nvidia in this price bracket for a long long time. Drivers have been great for years, and their architecture consistently ages better than Nvidia too. Compare the RX580 several years later with the GTX 1060, it absolutely crushes it.

Got this card for my kiddo a few months ago off Amazon for $279, solid performing card. If you're looking for an alternative you can get the Arc A750 for $249, only 8GB of VRAM but I think it performs close to this, and it's stable since they've been rolling up updates.
