So, the address kept going to them without the state filled in. I'm not sure why the seller couldn't just get that info from the ZIP, but regardless, my state wasn't there and they wouldn't process. Turns out the address at the top of my PayPal list didn't have the state. I had to look closely to notice and choose another one of my addresses from the list that had the state. Then the order processed, no problem. Just giving you a thought based on my experience with using PayPal and an order not working.

My only concern is my kid is in a out of state grad school and needs 11 pro. If something goes wrong, I'm too far away (1700+ miles) to fix it - back up her stuff, reinstall 11 home and do a legit upgrade. She is also not very technically inclined. I would do it for my own PC, if I needed it. Heck, if she were still in-state I'd pbly do it but will likely just pay the MSFT fee.
I miss my old MSDN subscription!
