I've seen this go to $100 just once during world backup day in March. Aside that $110 is the lowest I've seen.

It was same price on Amazon for a very long time (just went back to normal 145 price though). The issue now is that so many great drives have been constantly going on sale. Best thing to do is decide what drive you want and then wait for that to go on sale. Personally, I got the intel 990 pro 2tb when it was down to 130/140. The 980 keeps going on sale too. And then this and the 850x keep going on sale. Finally the Crucials keep going on sale (p3/p5 plus). Those are the top 6 which are all great and keep going on and off sales. All around that $100-$150 mark for the 2tbs.

General experience for myself as I have all the drives:
- WD most reliable
- Intel fastest
- Crucial mix of both, but a bit less of both stats
