Adding detail on the voltage/current combinations supported as they're pretty limited. Essentially only one of the two USB-C ports is useful for laptop (and some tablet) charging. Everything else is optimized for phones or other basic charging needs. Of course, for the right user this could represent a reasonable compromise to achieve consolidation of chargers for travel. However, I personally would rather see USB-A which aren't power limited when used in combination (the two USB-A are limited to 17W total when used at the same time).

No support for Programmable Power Supply (PPS) here, so no Super Fast Charging.

For what it is worth, I've got this and have no complaints. I've also been buying from Monoprice for about 15 years. Not perfect quality every time but far from a generic unknown brand.

Ah... the perfect Apple sheep customer.

I have bought over 20+ chargers mostly through SD and most are no-name brands or lesser-known brands including from Monoprice but mostly through Amazon. Not a single one has caused failure in any of my cellphones, tablets or laptops. The only brands that have failed and stopped working are Anker (which they did replace under warranty) and an Apple OEM iPad charger. I don't blame either of these brands. The point is that failures do happen with any brand but it is rare.

But go ahead and buy into the brand-name charger hype so that there are charger deals for the rest of us.

Yeah, I agree. I have this as well, and it works great. Monoprice has always been hit or miss and will always be.

This should be ok for the price. I have the more rectangular looking model when it was on sale for $25. It shows super fast charging when i plug in my s22 and s23 ultras - at least during intial plugging in.

My only complaint was that it temporarily cuts power to other devices after plugging in an additional device - so if you had a device without a battery then it would shutdown.

Most electronics whether chargers, laptops, phones, cables, anything at all. Generally are produced by 3 or 4 major global manufacturers then either rebranded or put in a different looking housing with the exact same insides. Branded vs unbranded doesn't really mean anything at all anymore it's nothing like it used to be when companies made their own products.

(this applies to everything including generic vs brand name drugs etc as well but that's off topic)

For those of you hesitant buying "any generic charger", you're right in that not all chargers are created equal, but they're not all bad.

For example, I hadn't heard much about Baseus, but this channel helped me buy a new charging adapter confidently https://youtube.com/@AllThingsOnePlace

The internet is a wonderful place. Do some research and maybe you can save some money without falling for brand name "guarantees".

Yeah I've been watching his vids recently and learned about Baseus, although he does mention that it may not be as reliable and QC may be lacking sometimes. Also learned the UGreen (often on SD) brand mostly lacks any safety ratings. Between those 2 generics, Baseus is a clear winner.

I also buy generic brand chargers, but the fact that you've purchased/used 20+ chargers without failure to your devices doesn't mean much. 20 is a tiny statistical sample. If you read the literature out there, generic brand chargers have a statistically higher likelihood of both internal failure and causing external damage. Note, I'm NOT saying branded chargers never fail, nor am I saying generic brand chargers always fail; rather there's a statistical distribution with a higher rate of failure with generic branded chargers.

Not anti-apple. I just understand that the high price of Chinese made Apple products has no bearing on their quality.
