Water thoroughly the first year of planting to establish a strong root system. Well draining soil that is kept moist, slightly acidic, and full of nutrients is best to provide the tree with. Prune and fertilize annually in early spring.Flowers will appear and bloom on new wood.
While every effort has been made to describe these plants accurately, please note that height, bloom time, and color may differ in various climates.

Fantastic deal for this type of plant, on average I've seen around $150 for just one fully rooted hydrangea tree.

edit: I googled and a bush really is low to the ground and has no long stem. I definitely saw a tree for $38
second edit: sorry ! I saw hibiscus trees , not hydrangea.

I have had good luck with Home Depot Hydrangeas, usually around $34-$40 in Chicago suburbs.

They shipped from a vendor called Perfect Plants (can't guarantee the same now) and they are selling the 3 gallon bush for $80 and a 2 pack for $139. Costco prices are a steal.
