Please don't bash me... But why all the thumbs down? I am considering this offer and want to understand why it is a bad deal.

I think with inflation , this price is almost close to a m1 MacBook . Samsung used to price these phones are 399 or 499 after few months. The fact that they are hovering at 800 at a deal price after 6months of launch is no longer a deal. Might as well wait out for another 6 more months when you can trade in your older Samsung phone and get it for 300 . Samsung phones depreciate by 30-40 % within 6 months of launch. Samsung is trying to reverse it by inflating prices by 50% .

Everyone has seen Google fi offer of ultra 512 at 600 dollars. That's the benchmark for a deal . So folks like myself are waiting for that to come in.

For now the s23 prices are overpriced and probably q2 and q3 the Samsung sales would be muted and bring those sale prices .

Thank you so much for the explanation. My old S10+ should be able to make it a few more months. I am going to take your advice and hold off until the price comes down a little. Thank you so much for taking the time to reply to me!
