Tab prices are coming down. No more shortages. The other day my local place had 30lbs for $99

Haven't they rebuilt that chlorine plant that burnt during Covid years?

Edit: It's open again. An amusing article saying prices should go back to normal levels now (yeah, right).

Leslies prices have been ridiculous. I just place my first order with intheswim. For comparison..

Sams 40lb for $170 = $4.25 per lb
Intheswim 50lb for $240 =$4.80 per lb

Use promo SAVEBIGNOW includes free shipping.
They also reasonable for shock.

That is an excellent price. What local place? Are you allowed to say the name or is it a mom and pop store?

Costco has had the 40lb buckets at this price for a while (may have been 160, possibly 169). Interesting that the tablet are from Spain.

Got my 50lbs of tabs from InTheSwim last month for $200. They usually have coupon codes floating around and typically you'll get ones in the mail from them. Great company.

my salt cell doesn't seem to last more than 5 years, plus i need about a gallon of acid a month, and have to add about 4 bags of salt every year.

i was actually thinking of giving up on salt and going back to chlorine... until chlorine prices started blowing up... now I'm not sure which to go with, and my salt cell might be on it's last year

I oversalted my pool when I installed the cell and haven't had to add any yet.
