Sure the new 500 7000 series card will be out soon, I'm willing to bet we don't see more than 50-75 dollars more movement on this card.
If it's worth keeping in the sideline for another 10% drop after you've been holding for so long, enjoy your wait. If you want a card that can put up 6900xt frame rates in many games, just pull the trigger and enjoy..
I play apex legends and I want to be able to play at consistent 240-360 at medium settings.
At the moment, I play everything on lowest settings, with textures and streaming budgets off and during key gameplay moments such as fights with other teams, I have FPS drops.
I would not be looking to upgrade again in the future for at least another 3-5 years.
This is my current specs. Thank you for any replies..
MOBO: Asus TUF GAMING X570-PLUS (WIFI)
CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 2700x, 8-core 3700mhz (16 logical)
GPU: AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT (MECH OC) 8GB
RAM: 32GB DDR4
PSU: CORSAIR 650W- NONMODULAR
KEY NOTE: I do plan on building out a new system for this card, but for now I will be using this one as a placeholder until I gather all necessary parts. Just wanted feedback for if t his card would be okay on this system until i build out a new pc for it and if the card is powerful enough for my needs.
