Shacket = Shirt/Jacket. They have the look of a button up shirt but are thicker, like a jacket, sometimes containing a thin layer of insulation.

The only jacket I would ever consider buying from mountain hardwear is the stretch down hoody jacket. One of the best jackets ever!

I own this jacket. I like it, but found that it isn't nearly as warm as I was expecting it to be. Maybe my expectations are too high, but found that even with some layering, it didn't keep me as warm as I'd like.
