I don't mind upvoting the deal but I think I should caution about Home Depot and perhaps big box in general.

I bought furniture from Home Depot and they delivered it damaged and missing a part. I'm a couple of months into trying to get replacement parts. The last shipment of boxes arrived yesterday all ripped up. I refused the shipment.

I've called HD and their OEM several dozen times. I've memorized the order number and case number but the customer service people remain strangers. I'll probably reluctantly haul the set back to the store and ask for a refund. This is costing hundreds of dollars, exceeding the original purchase price, and they don't care.

I agree with this 100%. I've had bad luck from Home Depot's bigger furniture orders. My last Hampton Bay order arrived with broken tiles all over a patio tabletop that took 3 months to get here. I waited to reply to an email by one day asking for a part that they already received in a different email, and they almost closed the ticket because I hadn't responded quickly enough. Very shady... Sure enough I checked my email every 8 hours after that.

Once I got the table top, I said I'm not going to sign until I see the tabletop and opened the box right in front of the FedEx dude. He was huffing and puffing the whole time. Like don't blame me man, blame Home Depot's quality control lol

The best way to go about it from what I've gathered is to order from the store. With online orders sometimes they say take it to the store, sometimes they will just order another part without any problems, sometimes they refuse outright, and sometimes they'll ask you weird stuff like you can order just the chair, but you have to send us the broken chair and pay the restocking fee for it lolwut? Like why would I do that?

With the store option, you just bring it back and swap it. Only prob is having a large enough vehicle to get it back

I wouldn't buy anything made of steel for outdoor, the last set from HD rusted with just the humidity. Always buy aluminum for outdoor furniture

I agree. It's just two basic chairs with a small side table.

If delivering to store is an option I'd choose that. I just got a 61" toolbox delivered to store, had a few dings but nothing I really cared about... Got them to knock 20% off the already discounted price. But also it's an easy way to instantly return the product if the packaging is damaged.

Not a bad way to manage it. Just to finish out the story, I went to the store, told a very short story, and they loaded a new unit in my truck. I brought it home and also found it damaged, perhaps worse than the first. But, I was able to mix and match parts and ended with a full set.

I hauled the defective parts back to HD. They had noted my account previously and the return was easy... too easy. They never looked in the boxes. I could have returned boxes packed with bricks and they would not have cared.

Lastly, I should have kept the cushions from the first set. The seat cushions from the second set soak rainwater like a sponge. My mistake.

I went to lowes and saw a set there, $438 each chair!
So, I'm trying this set.

I think it might be different quality.
