I suspect that some of these that are discontinued such as the V1 10,12 and 15 are new units and just left over stock
30 day returns and 5 year warranty
You have to pay shipping costs on returns for non defective merchandise
They will not exchange an open box product with a " new" one should you have performance or shipping damage issues at delivery. You will have to return and rebuy a "new" one. They will exchange if they have another open box unit in stock
For those that have concerns about amp failures. They will ship out an new amp for warranty purposes. That has been confirmed many times on AVS forum and a couple of times for buyers here on slick deals as well
Their sales manager regularly participates in conversations on AVS forum
I have three Monolith subs in my main theater listening area and I have been consistently impressed with their performance over the 2-3 years I have owned them
If you can accommodate it..the 15" V1, at this price is amazing.
The 12" and up are very heavy and large
Do yourself a favor and measure your space and be prepared to have help if you need to accommodate stairs
Fed Ex dropped one of mine off at the garage door and didnt even try to bring it up my front steps

I had also previously grabbed a third Monolith 16 for a different 7.1 setup when they had the $200 off coupon. $1514 all in delivered.
Keep in mind that many of their open box subs and speakers DON'T have free shipping which might kill the deal.
The 16, sealed models and many speakers are subject to shipping charges.
Also, the Monolith 15 V2 can be had quite regularly for $1099 on Amazon so just a consideration for those looking.
HTP-1 had similar issues and it was pulled off from the website.
Anyone interested read AVS forum for more info or join one of the Facebook Monoprice group.
I hope they come back quickly with quality control because they are the best when it comes to price to performance.
I personally have bought 3 subwoofers and a multichannel amp from Monoprice..no issues
I can only imagine how many amps and subwoofers they have sold at their price to performance ratio...so yes a few of them are going to have issues
I have been on AVS forum for at least a decade and did extensive research before I bought any Monolith product that I own now
If you read AVS forum you know that Monoprice's director of sales had made statements on there and on You tube about their products and warranty
The HTP-1 was not pulled from their website due to quality issues...
But if you have information....
Please give me the information that you have on the statistics of Monolith's failures and the associated proof that that their Director of Sales was making false statements...
Going to use one for my bedroom with a pair of Klipsch the fives.

Most likely the recent inventory of HTP-1s sold out.
I've had flawless performance from 3 Monolith subs and a 7 channel amp, HTP-1 next and hopefully Dirac ART soon.

The HTP-1 was not pulled. They had supply chain issues. They expected to have the parts in January 2022. They did not get the parts until a few months ago.
I have, would you prefer the sound couldn't tell you.
What I can tell you is they are not very efficient speakers(4ohm/85 sensitivity),not much bass, like power, rear ported and IMO aren't really optimal at low listening levels.

Much appreciated. That tell me all I need to know.

I am new to HT. Please pardon if my question is naive.
