First of all, this is an used item. But given this product was released just in a few months back, I would give it a try.
It has 2x 2.5GbE ports, which is ideal for people with 1Gbps+ Internet speed, who want the fastest speed on both Wi-Fi and wired network. Plus it has an upgraded CPU from non pro version.

The other choice is Asus GT-AX6000, which is basically an identical device with different look. But I like the *traditional* look of RT-AX88U better. https://www.amazon.com/ASUS-Raptu...PCTPT?th=1
The router arrived yesterday. I had a hard time figuring out why it is marked as 'Used: Acceptable.' The device has no scratches, with all accessories including 4 antennas and a power adapter. The box has some minor cosmetic damage but not impacting anything. It looks 'Very Good' to me, if not 'Brand New.'
I have installed the device with about 25+ devices connected via Wi-Fi right now. So far so good. It's funny to see a Wi-Fi Internet connection is faster than my gigabit LAN. To be fair, it was running at 1190Mbps only when few Wi-Fi devices connected. It could be 2 drywalls in between, though, which was impressive. For the record, I did try wired 2.5Gbps port and the speed was similar to Wi-Fi at 1190Mbps. I think this device could serve as a good router even when I upgraded my Wi-Fi with other access points in the future, as long as my Internet is below 2.5Gbps. And that's exactly my original purpose of this purchase.
I am satisfied with the purchase so far. But again, it is an used item and YMMV. Also I do believe the price will go down in a few months. But if you need a dual 2.5Gbps ports router, and do not like the appearance of GT-AX6000, it is a good option right now.

This thing came immaculate. I'm really impressed with the condition. factoring in my Amazon points it cost me $199.
