    Yes, and while game was a little more complicated, I feel like the haunts and overall mechanics are too dumbed down (although probably not to the level of the Scooby-Doo version).

    Lowest price yet, buy if you have the new edition. Still recommend the previous edition of the game over it, however.

    I have version 2 and widows walk, but for this price I'm thinking I'll buy 3 and this expansion. 3 is on sale as well. You'd really suggest against 3?

    Just noticed my post was a jumble, basically the new edition makes things more streamlined but also dumbed down. I wouldn't say I am opposed to it - just I prefer edition 2 to 3. If you're already a fan, no reason not to pick up this edition and the expansion!

    I haven't tried v2 so cannot compare but if you check the reviews plenty of people view v3 as an overall improvement. So this is probably an "opinions differ" scenario.
