No these are for a Keurig machine. Blue or Expert pods work in the Classy machine.

I haven't had the kcups but Lavazza's quality, generally speaking, is quite good. And there are two dark roast varieties in this, so I would think you'd like that.

These taste fine, but didn't seem very strong. The Gevalia, McCafe, or Green Mountain ones seem stronger, for example. And those are all below the Starbucks, Dunkin, and Peet's ones I think.

Thanks for the comparisons to McCafe. I recently got those for about $0.36/cup. Sounds like I should probably stick with them.

I love lavazza but their kcups are very mild and don't taste anything like their whole bean coffees. Even the kcups themselves feel lighter (in weight) and emptier than almost any other I've had.
