You should be. Foil goes in the trash and plastic goes in recycling. Grounds can be composted or used in soil.

I purchased a 64 count of the Grand Selezione the last time there was a slick deal on this. While I'm not a coffee snob, I do love (and need) my daily fix. K-cups are wasteful, but the convenience is simply too good for me to pass up. Over the past couple of years, I've been on the hunt to experience all brands and varieties – high and lowbrow. I was super excited to try LavAzza given all the positive reviews and was willing to wait the 3 weeks it took for delivery. I don't know if I ended up with an especially old or bad batch, but LavAzza has earned its place firmly at the bottom of my list. The aroma only had a hint of something slightly burnt and the taste was like hot water that was run through the coffee maker a third time. The color was dark, but little to no coffee flavor. Be warned that **returns are not accepted** so you're stuck with what you get. Given that these are sold through the warehouse, I have to assume that these will be older than what I received, which had no date stamp at all.

I have to add to compost, but the grounds are negligible.
Some kcups are compostable too, but only by municipal factories

The foil is probably worth more then the plastic, besides the plastic is so small it is probably rejected as trash at the recycling facility. I just throw them in the furnace and burn them.

Unless you have at least two people one that prefers dark roast and one that doesn't, this variety pack may not work well. Acidity also differs a bit between them.

Also, I am not sure of purchasing from warehouse. Some people in the reviews have reported getting the variety pack with pods thrown into a single Amazon carton without the original packing for each variety. Total number and mix varying.

Might be repackaging of pods from damaged or returned packs.

Genuine question, not being an ass. Have you tried reusable KCup filters? A little bit more up front work but less work on the back end, just dump the coffee into your compost container and done. I spend about $.25-30 per cup on coffee but mostly because I use more coffee grounds then are in a kcup and it makes a stronger cup.
