Sorry if this is a dumb question but, after it's unlocked, would this phone work on xfinity mobile?

The Samsung Galaxy S21 FE came out in January 2022. What would make it feel ancient? The dynamic AMOLED 120hz screen, snapdragon 888 chip, dual stereo speakers, etc?

This isn't a case of getting an iphone 11 that was released in Sept 2019 with ips screen, 60hz and 64gb internal. Not hating on Apple but the tech on the Samsung are light years ahead in these metro deals.
I agree with you, it's an excellent phone. Also, the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE 5G will receive four years of Android upgrades and five years of security updates. It came out in early 2022 so it should work well until at least 2026.

Those last 2 specs is the reason why older flagships from Samsung (S10, Note 9, Note 10) have retained high re-sale values.

Not having these two features (on-board/removable storage & a standard headphone jack) is RIDICULOUS. It's all about greed.

I'm still mad that most manufacturers have chosen to make it (nearly) impossible to remove the batteries from these devices.

I appreciate the deal here, but I will NEVER buy/use these phones that don't have at least the removable storage option, as well as the headphone jack, Jack! Just my honest 'disgruntled old man/if it isn't broken, why fix it?' opinion. : )

Thanks for reading my rant. 🤓👍🏼
Yep, they want you to upgrade to a new phone every two years.
You can thank Apple for setting the trend in these.
At least the other manufacturers stayed away from the proprietary "lightning" type chargers.

I found this on Metro by T-Mobile's website.

Unlock eligibility requirements

We unlock mobile devices that meet the following eligibility criteria free of charge:

1. The device must be purchased from Metro by T-Mobile.
2. The device must not be reported as lost, stolen or blocked.
3. One hundred eighty (180) days must have passed since the device's activation date.
If you didn't remove the SIM, you can able to unlock after 180 days. I purchased one on Jan'23 and it is in drawer now without active service.

Can you use it on TMobile right away? Or is it locked even on TMobile since it's metro?

My A53 from October finally unlocked.

Now that I can actually use it already feels outdated while the A54 is now half the price smh

How do I actually use the website? I tried this and the A54 and have the appropriate boxes on the A54 screen marked and it says in-stock but no way to add to cart?

Plus people need to consider the bang for the buck value. Would I rather have a Samsung Galaxy S23 or S23+? Sure but those deals cost far than S21 FE or A54. I think google fi deal was $300 for S23 and like 120 days service which is probably like another $100. That is quite lot more money.

What I like about the S21 FE is that it has a 6.4" rather than a 6.1" screen of the S23. It doesn't sound much but it does make it more enjoyable to have lil bit bigger screen.

Metro is killing it with their deals.

* Right now I am typing on my Metro Moto G Stylus 5G 2022 that I got for free with a $40 month service. I am a big fan of my Samsung Galaxy A71 5G (6.7") too. Not perfect but I can happily use that Samsung as a daily driver. Right now my daily driver is a Pixel 6a.

How are these compared to the Pixel 6a?

Was interested in getting the s21fe but it seems to be a downgrade coming from a oneplus 8 phone.
6gb of ram vs 8gb
Slower charging ( takes 1 hour and 15 mins for complete charge)
Better build quality on the op8 vs plastic back on the s21fe

The camera would be better on the s21 fe and the battery life would be about the same.

The user interfaces are both very good. The pixel 6a has more powerful processor and better camera. Both have 128gb internal with no microsd support. The Samsung has the better and larger display. For me, I actually prefer the larger screens over the 6.1". I just enjoy browsing and typing on the larger screen phones. The battery life are probably similar (just ok). If you got Galaxy watch, Galaxy smart tag and Galaxy buds+, it would make sense to go for Samsung.
