I also used my balance left over from a 100 gift card I got from eneba for 72 bucks about 3 months ago. Gamming for 45 years, love this deal Smilie

Excellent atmosphere (the creepy funicular stations in Dark Water are glorious), decent lore, standard combat, but the characters and dialogue are aggravatingly passive and whiny. I got so sick of the main character reacting to everything with the exact same blank stare and whimpering things like "Why did.... mother leave me........." or "I..... don't know if.....I can go on........" in the same flat tone that I had to stop playing.
Also the fan service outfits and stuff are massively cringe. You have these young female characters who are traumatized to the point of catatonia and are often suicidal, and one of the selling points of the game is that you can make them run around in swimsuits and maid uniforms and enjoy the cartoonish bouncy physics.

Exploring the various creepy environments is great, though--shame that the game gets in the way.
