This is a really low price, but the product is garbage. Lots of them arriving broken and apparently you only have two days to let Monoprice know after delivery, else you might be stuck with warranty service and unable to return for cash back. Returns to Monoprice are not nearly as simple as with Amazon. Lots of back-and-forth emails to get the RMA, etc.

Even if yours arrives in working order, the parts often break due to poor design and it looks like you can't get replacement parts outside of warranty.

I'd suggest putting your money towards a different brand.

I bought mine last week for 175 shipped.

Its fine for the average joe but if you want to get into 3D printing i suggest getting something better.

Its very loud and clunky. Jammed on me a few times poorly designed and put together. i swear someone hand drilled the holes on the heatsink...

autoleveling system does not work well. i still need to manually adjust it with the bolts underneath and add -0.8mm on the Z

I might give this away and get a better one in the future.

Man this thing is getting cheaper and cheaper lol. I agree it's not a great first printer but I do love that it's fully enclosed and has a small footprint. And yes it's super loud, at least fan wise. It is kind of clunky at high speed too which I presume is due to its (horribly designed) direct drive extruder, moderately high 3k accelerations, and sheet metal case. If you get it, there is a custom marlin 2 firmware floating around in the tiny Reddit community for the thing which really helped me out. The auto bed leveling on mine straight up didn't even try when I got it second hand and only the custom firmware plus editing that firmware to target -4mm below the software z0 endpoint on probe resolved it.

liquidating old crap that no one wants. 3d printing has progressed a long ways from this model in the last few years. Don't waste your money.
